Free Lynbrook Chamber Meeting open to Members and non members considering Membership.

The Lynbrook Chamber launches a Logo Competition. This competition to redesign the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce logo will be open to students, residents and business owners alike. Winner of the Lynbrook Chamber logo competitions will receive a check for $250 and be featured in all the media coverage surrounding the event. The aim of the logo competition is to include the community in the revitalization. Through the redesign the Lynbrook Chamber hopes to make its logo a better representation of the great community we call Lynbrook.

Centrally located on beautiful Long Island New York’s south shore, Lynbrook was founded in 1894. The name "Lynbrook" is derived from "Brooklyn", as a tribute to the original home of many of the town's turn-of-the century residents.

Lynbrook Chamber Meeting on the Effects of the Affordable Health Care Act...

In March, Speaker Gary Slavin gave a great presentation on separating fact from fiction the Affordable Health Care Act taking effect in 2014. His presentation clearly explained employee obligations, penalties for non-compliance, expected costs and taxes.  

Gary, President of Slavin Employee Benefits has assisted small businesses owners and non-profit organizations located on Long Island in designing and implementing employee benefit plans for the past 20 years. Gary holds a degree in marketing & business administration from Marist College and is a graduate of the American College of Insurance Health Care Reform Program. Gary was also named small business person of the year by the Nassau Council of Chambers.
