The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce recently held a contest inviting graphic artists of all ages and skill levels, who reside within the village to design a new logo for the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce.
The winner of the contest was Nicolai Tyco, a 2013 graduate of Lynbrook High School. and a co-president of the National Art Honor Society.
The Chamber wanted the logo design to reflect a vibrant hometown feel, a welcoming business community and a Long Island lifestyle.

Centrally located on beautiful Long Island New York’s south shore, Lynbrook was founded in 1894. The name "Lynbrook" is derived from "Brooklyn", as a tribute to the original home of many of the town's turn-of-the century residents.
The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce is working hard to revitalize the Lynbrook business district! The NEW "Shop Local Lynbrook" Loyalty Card Program is launching August 22nd. Look for your Shop Local Card in the Almanac. Participation in this program is FREE to all chamber members.
At the Village Board meeting on August 12th Regal Entertainment Group announced the proposed project to renovate the Lynbrook Movie Theater.The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce supports this project and believes it will be vital in rejuvenating Lynbrook's down town area.
In July the village announced that Lynbrook was selected as one of the South Shore communities picked to take part in a federally funded study that will explore ways to promote development near Long Island Rail Road stations.
The Lynbrook Chamber congratulates Greis Park and its workers for winner $25,000 in the Coke 'America's Favorite Park' contest.
